Boom Beach: Tips on what to upgrade first!

One of the best ways in protecting your resources from attacks in Boom Beach is just as similar with Clash of Clans - to have a very effective defense. It is a common mistake that you are not wise on what upgrades to prioritize, leading to more losses during enemy attacks.

So here is the Tips and Hints on which or when to upgrade:

• Never rush to upgrade your Headquarters unless all your tower defenses and Storage (Like Wood Storage, Gold Storage and Vault) are fully upgraded for that certain Headquarters level.

• Upgrade the defenses first before the Storage - After farming the right amount of wood to upgrade a tower defense, upgrade the tower right away and farm for more resources again.

• After the defenses, upgrade all the Storage (Gold Storage, Wood Storage, and Vault)

• Since Wood is the most important resource in the early stages, upgrade the sawmill to maximum.

• To be more successful in attacking your rival enemy player on the map, you also need to upgrade the Landing Craft to have the maximum number of troops possible, then the next would be the gunboat.

• If you have too many spare Gold resource, use it to upgrade troops in your armory.

• If all the upgrades mentioned above are done, upgrade your radar before going to the Headquarters.

• Since Gold is the most abundant resource in the game, make Residence the least of your priority to upgrade. You can upgrade your Headquarters by ignoring to upgrade the Residence because you will get so much gold in every attack,
