Godus: Guide on how to use empty wheat fields

Godus game by 22Cans
Many people have been asking how to use the empty wheat fields found on mountainsides or distant explored lands in Godus.

We have made a simple guide on how to do it:

  • Build Adobes (Houses) around the area of the empty wheat fields until you have abodes circling them.
  • Now, build a Farming Settlement using the Abodes you have made near the fields.
  • Make sure that there are no empty plots in an area so that when a farmer is created, it wont create a new wheat field. Because there will is no empty plot, it will use the nearest empty field.
This is an example of an empty plot where you can build Abodes (Houses)
  • After a farmer has taken an empty wheat field, build new abodes near the farming settlement and once you have enough belief to build a new Farming settlement, built it on the current Farming settlement with the new Abodes so that it will connect and additional farmers will be released.
Here is what I did with my farming settlement, I sculpted the empty plots so that new farmers will not create a new wheat field and will just use the pre-build empty wheat field instead.
  • Rinse and repeat this method until you have all farmers use the empty wheat fields.
  • Note: If you don't want to sculpt the land in order to remove the empty plot, you can just build a new Abode in that plot.

  1. Thanks!! I'm going to try that. Very helpful. I kept letting them build new ones and the other plots never got farmed.
